Among the noblest of dragonkind, the silver dragon wears scales so fine and bright they seem sculpted from polished metal, blue-grey in the young, gleaming silver in the old. It nests on lonely peaks and within enchanted cloud-banks, is gentle toward honest folk, and often befriends mortals, moving among them in borrowed shapes. Yet it is no weakling: roused by cruelty, it commands cold, fog and even the pull of gravity, and few foes survive its wrath. As a quest-giver, guardian or reluctant ally it rewards the worthy and judges the wicked, making it one of the most coveted, and dangerous, encounters a traveller can hope to survive.

Behavior

Flies and walks; treads on cloud and fog as though on solid ground
Avoids needless violence, fighting only the cruel or aggressive
Blinds and scatters enemies with fog and wind before striking
Often disguises itself to move unseen among mortals
Forms lasting bonds with brave, good-hearted companions

Abilities

Frost Breath. Exhales a cone of killing cold; a partial dodge halves the harm.
Paralyzing Cloud. Breathes a gas that locks muscles and freezes victims in place.
Cold Immunity. Unharmed by frost and ice.
Shapeshifting. Can assume the guise of other creatures or travellers at will.
Weather Mastery. Summons fog, bends the winds, and can reverse gravity to fling foes aloft.
